Looking for a place for the night we took the room without having a look first. Very friendly and honest owner (warned us for the evening program in the pub/restaurant: pool stripper!!!). Good pub food, nice full glasses of good wine and beer. It was pretty straight forward, not really for kids, more for US car fans (owns a nice Thunderbird!) Organized good blues evenings and bike and US car events. Hotel is for sale. Hope it is there next time we visit NZ. (Date of experience: Feb, 2010 )
