Venture Inn Waihau Bay

My wife & 5yr son and I visited in July last year as we travelled through the region and decided to come back for Xmas. Had a blast, Robynne & Mike are great hosts, we got treated like family and really enjoyed our stay. Waihau bay has some awesome locations - uncrowded beaches, excellent fishing, walks, etc. A place to lose yourself as it is somewhat remote (no cell phone reception within 1hrs drive). Bedroom/lounge is comfortable, lots of kitchen space with everything you need, not set up as 'luxury' accomodation but for the price/location/company it is excellent value. Walk out onto the drive and there is a nice view of the Ocean, 5 minutes drive to beach, wharf, pub. Will be coming back sometime...
