Holiday Inn Wellington

Be aware that a 'standard' room is lower down and has no 'scenic view'. However, our room (4 nights in Summer '09) was fairly spacious and the facilities were good. Room service was good for 'take-away' meals (chicken curry was lovely!) and cooked breakfast also good in comfortable restaurant. Friendly efficient service desk. Strange glass screen dividing bedroom and bathroom so that sitting on the toilet is far from private!! Hotel well situated for the town centre and harbour. Upgrade if you can afford it for harbour views, although this may mean that you have 2 double beds in your room.
