Sandspit Holiday Park

We arrived after the office had closed looking for a cabin. The owner pleasantly arranged our overnight accommodation and even booked the local restaurant for a meal for us on our request. The cabin was clean and well organised and comfortable. The next day we were able to look around the museum that is set up right at the camp ground. The view from the front porch of the cabin was beautiful and peaceful. There is a great play area for children and the ferry to Kawau Island is walking distance. I hope I can go back and stay there again one day.
