Cockroaches

When staying in a tourist cabin there were hundreds of tiny cockroaches coming out of the plug of the kitchen sink. Later found a large one from under the fridge. When going to the camp owner, they laughed and advised to use fly spray to control the cockroaches. Outside the unit there were also cockroaches crawling everywhere. (Date of experience: May, 2010 )

Getting ThereTravelling north into Auckland on SH1 take the North-Western Motorway exit leading to Henderson and Helensville (SH16). Take the Great North Rd off-ramp to Avondale and proceed along Great North Road. Turn left into Blockhouse Bay Road, then left at New North Road. Bollard Avenue is 300 m on your right.
