Visited the camp to have a look around, with the idea of booking in for weekends away as it is close to home and we love the area. As it is advertised as 'pet friendly' we thought we would take our little dog with us (I was holding her in my arms). Was greeted with a glare and a very cool reception and told we couldn't look around the camp with the dog. There was nothing friendly and welcoming about this place! We were told to leave the dog in the car. At 26 degrees on a hot summers day? I don't think so ! Pet friendly ? No ! Couldn't even raise a smile for the human visitors ! For someone in the hospitality industry their attitude towards visitors to their campsite was incredibly rude. There are much friendlier places to stay in New Zealand !
