The Marine BBH Backpackers Hostel

Four of us travelling - myself and husband - had double ensuite room, and daughter and her friend both 13, who had a twin room. The facilities and location are great. Had the private lounges and outside area for the girls, and the bar complete with Tab machine for the husband - close enough to the beach for the girls to walk and close to heaps of places to eat out if you didn't want to cook. Central chch only 10 mins away but out far enough to really feel on holiday! The Bar is very tastefully done and is certainly not noisy - wouldn't even know it was there from the accommodation end of the building. (Date of experience: Dec, 2009 )
