Snowgrass Cabin

We stayed in this cottage Feb/Mar09. The cottage has a QS comfy bed in the main room which consists of a good kitchen, microwave, TV, table and chairs and a couple of cane chairs to relax in. Lots of heaters and is VERY cosy. Two other rooms are the spare bed room with bunks (2 single beds) and the bathroom which has a great heater. Whilst the picture made me think this cottage was on its own in the wilderness, this was not the case, however the whole area is out in the wilderness, its close to some great walks, a few cafe's and easy to get to the West Coast for a look see (beware of the food prices in Hokitika i.e. $15 for a VEGE hamburger!!.) We would definitely stay at Snowgrass again, it was clean, cosy, quiet and good value.
