When staying in a tourist cabin there were hundreds of tiny cockroaches coming out of the plug of the kitchen sink. Later found a large one from under the fridge. Getting ThereTravelling north into Auckland on SH1 take the North-Western Motorway exit leading to Henderson and Helensville (SH16). Take the Great North Rd off-ramp to Avondale and proceed along Great North Road. Turn left into Blockhouse Bay Road, then left at New North Road. Bollard Avenue is 300 m on your right.
