BEWARE BEDMOBILS - NEVER EVER BADMOBILS!
We rented a campervan from B(a)dmobils for one month to travel NZ. We have been very disappointed with the whole experience and will detail the facts as following:
-cocky, unfriendly and a grumpy guy (the owner) picked us up from the airport after two hours of waiting time
- we were not allowed to use the toilet at his office/home
- you have to pay the full insurance excess bond in advance, he does not just do an imprint of your credit card, so the money is gone and you have to worry about how to get it back
- the van was old and very basic
- there is nothing in it, just a bed, a gas stove, a so called "cooler box" with 12 V (it runs only when you drive) you cannot use the car charger anymore, an amount of cutlery was missing, there were f ... Read More (Date of experience: Jan, 2011 )

I cannot recommend Bedmobils. The Toyota Hiace we rented needed a lot of oil (within the 3 months period we paid more than 100 Dollars for oil). Every time we went to the petrol station we also had to check the water, which was very unhandy, as the passenger seat has to be toppled and all the stuff from the back pouch fell out ...
