An extravaganza of Polynesian art and culture, the Otara Market is New Zealand's largest outdoor market. Stall holders ply their wares every Saturday between 6am and 1pm - with everything from traditional Tapa cloth to urban street wear on sale.

Located in the heart of South Auckland, home to the largest Polynesian population in the world, the Otara Markets have become an Auckland institution.

I've been living in Auckland two years now and this market should be on the tourist route.
