Located in the historic Provincial Council Buildings between Durham Street and the Avon River, the Torenhof Belgian Beer Café is a traditional Belgian-inspired tavern with Christchurch's finest selection of Belgian beer and cuisine.

Stella Artois, Leffe, Hoegaarden, Kriek, Duvel, Lucifer and many more exquisite Belgian beers are all available - expertly poured by the highly trained bar staff.

The cuisine of Belgian is also represented here. 1kg pots of New Zealand Green Lipped Mussels are a house specialty, served with Belgian fries and mayonnaise.

A popular live music venue, the Torenhof regularly features Christchurch's top jazz acts and is one of the live music venues during the Christchurch Jazz Festival.
