The Kaimira Estate label was introduced in 1999 to promote a food friendly range of wines in a dry to slightly off-dry aromatic style. Wherever possible wines are made from grapes grown at the Brightwater vineyards. The Nelson Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant gooseberry/tropical fruit wine, best enjoyed within 1-2 years. The Brightwater Riesling is refined with lime & citrus characteristics. Can be cellared for 5-7 years. Brightwater Chardonnay is made from Mendoza grapes with rich butterscotch & stonefruit flavours. Bottle age is 5-7 years. Brightwater Gewürztraminer is a rose &Turkish delight, with lycee notes. Can be cellared for 3-5 years. Brightwater Pinot Gris is opulent with pear, ginger & nutty characters. Can be cellared for 5-7 years. Vintners Selection Pinot Noir is matured in French oak for 12 months before bottling. Aromatic dark cherry-plum flavour with smokey oak overtones. Can be cellared for 5-7 years.

Further Information
*Kaimira Ventures owns and operates three vineyards and receives grapes from a nearby contract grower in Golden Hills. All vineyards are Sustainable Winegrowing accredited and viticultural practices are overseen by our manager. All the vineyards are relatively closely planted with a row width of 2.4 m and vine spacing varying from 0.9 m for some Mendoza Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer to up to 2 m for Sauvignon Blanc. All vines are vertical shoot position (VSP) pruned which means each year the crop is taken from one year old cane
