Built on the old Mapua Wharf, the smokehouse cafe is based on the concept of delicately hot smoking local products using traditional brick kilns and natural manuka shavings. Try the smoked fish & Manuka bacon, smoked mushroom stack for the vegetarian or sake and lime marinated tuna and Salmon sashimi. For those not enamored by seafood, the Smokehouse does a wonderful pan roasted scotch fillet with crushed baby potatoes
