Kairuru is situated high on the Takaka Hill over looking the Abel Tasman National Park. Kairuru is a working hill country sheep and cattle farm of 4000 acres. Situated on the Takaka Hill on state Highway 60, at the top of the South Island.

Guests accommodation is offered in three comfortable cottages exclusively for guests individual use. The cottages are very comfortable with full facilities and wonderful views. Although your cottage is set up for self-catering, meals are available on request.

Further Information: *Kea Cottage has two bedrooms and a sleeping loft, sleeping 1-6 people. It has an open plan kitchen, dining, living room, separate laundry with automatic washing machine and bathroom with shower and toilet. The interior and exterior of the cottage is all wood and built in a modern colonial style. French doors off the living room opens onto a sunny balcony to take in the wonderful sea views.
Further Information: *Pipit Cottage sleeps up to 5, with two bedrooms (1 Queen size bedroom and one twin bedroom). Open plan spacious living, dining, kitchen, with separate laundry and bathroom areas. As with Kea cottage, Pipit cottage is all wood and built in a modern colonial style with French doors opening onto a sunny balcony with great views over the surrounding countryside and the Tasman sea.
