Moondance Manor Gardens are extensively planted with abundant flower beds, a wealth of native and exotic mature trees, a large ornamental pond with its own island and Pekin ducks, many open lawn areas, substantial formal hedging and all set on over a hectare bordering the Waikato River.
The garden beds present an array of perennials such as hellebores, fox gloves, primrose, iris, hyacinths, pompom and lilies along with established trees, roses, camellias, magnolias, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, wisteria and much much more.
As you make your journey of discovery take time to appreciate the multitude of beautiful vistas presented on every turn or discover a contemplative moment in one of the many secluded spots or amble down to the Waikato River and its woodland garden.
Refreshments and light meals are available on request and may be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the garden and lawns.
