Centrally located in Blenheim, The Marlborough Tramping Club is in the enviable position of having some of the New Zealands best tramping right at our back door. Marlborough Tramping Club caters for all levels of fitness and capability from east grade to the tougher fitness-essential trips. Fun outings in the the form of kayaking, winter solstice etc generally provide much hillarity.

The Nelson Lakes, Richmond Range, Queen Charlotte Track and for the more adventurous, Mt Tapuae-o-uenuku are all less than two hours drive from Blenheim.

The Marlborough Tramping Club is a very active club, holding mid-week and Sunday trips plus regular overnight tramps. Extended trips further afield are also on the program. Occasioanl trips also cater for cyclists.

Special Features: Marlborough and the surrounding area is home to an enormous range of native plants, from high alpine species to the many coastal varieties.Throughout the region the Marlborough Daisy can be found clinging happily to the most inhospitable chunk of rock.
Further Information: Training programs include Snow Skills, River Crossing and Map and Compass Courses. Recently our 4WD owners took part in a two day course covering the many issues involved in off road driving, river crossing, winching etc.
