HangDog Adventures

HangDog is Wellington's highest indoor climbing centre, with huge 14m high walls covered in brilliant paintings. Attracting many of the country's top climbers, the HangDog Adventures main bouldering room is New Zealand's best and is equipped with the world's largest bouldering mat.

The walls are designed with many different angles, ranging from the Slab (which leans back and is great for beginners) to long, pumpy overhangs and horizontal 'box' overhang sections.

HangDog Adventures' walls have around 70 different climbs on them, with a huge range of difficulties - there really is something for everyone. The bright orange, 700mm deep air-mat enables people of all ages to safely push their skills to the limit, while climbing up one side, across the roof and down the other side of our dome-shaped room.
