Artisans Gallery in historic Akaroa, Banks Peninsula, a stunning one hour drive from Christcurch, has, for the past twenty years promoted the best in quality, contemporary New Zealand craft.

Well known nationally and internationally the gallery is situated in the historic quarter on the main street. A wide and interesting range of New Zealand craft is shown - superb woodturning, hot blown glass from New Zealand's premier glass blowers, ceramics collected from all over new Zealand, hand painted silk - scarves and jackets, weaving, original jewellery, and inique "one off" craft pieces.
