Sandihurst Winery and Vineyard is situated just 24 km from central Christchurch Canterbury on the West Coast Road to Arthur's Pass.
The vineyards surrounding the winery are planted in the following varietals: Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay. Wine has been produced on site since 1992, winning national and international acclaim including the 1997 Pinot Noir which received overall Best Wine at the New Zealand Royal Easter Show.
Wine is available in selected Restaurants and top hotels in and around Christchurch, Fine Wine Stores and is also exported to the USA and China.
Hennie and Celia Bosman purchased Sandihurst in June 2005 after emigrating from South Africa in 2004. Both have a love of wine that began in the Cape wine making region of South Africa. Sandihurst is a working winery currently producing about 7,500 cases per annum. Sandihurst Winery is proud to be situated in the Canterbury wine producing area of South Island, New Zealand.
