The Packing Shed Gallery & Cafe is moments from the awe inspiring Waitakere Ranges and located in the idyllic setting of Tara Orchard, only 20 minutes from Auckland central. Allow Josephine and her friendly staff entertain your taste bud's with a great selection of traditional Kiwi fare in a relaxing atmosphere for both breakfast and lunch.

Renowned for it's suburb Devonshire Teas, freshly ground coffee and delicious home-made local cuisine you will not go home hungry. So sit yourself down, relax and enjoy a big 'westie' breakfast, traditional cottage pie or a slice of our sumptuous home-made cakes!

The Packing Shed Gallery show cases an amazing selection of west Auckland artists from photographs and watercolours to pottery and maori carvings. The gallery is a fantastic place for a well priced souvenir or present. Our guests have the choice of setting in our relaxing and tranquil garden or inside amongst the art.

Groups: We are more than happy to accommodate group bookings for either breakfast lunch or morning/afternoon tea. Groups are able to select from our large menu. However we have found from past experiences that we are able to offer a much better service where a smaller menu is offered. For enquiries and menu samples please contact Josephine or one of her staff. Bus parking available Reservations are essential.
