    Things to do
    White water rafting, horse riding, golf or trout and salmon fishing and great bush walks. Just an hour from eight ski fields (including Mount Hutt, Mount Dobson and Lake Tekapo's Roundhill ski field), . Nearby Geraldine village has a cinema, restaurants, vintage machinery museum, chocolate and cheese making, Barkers jams, sauces, crafts and gift shops.
    Local Area
    In twenty minutes you can be in Pleasant point or Temuka just 20 minutes more and you are on the seaside at Caroline bay, Timaru. Aoraki/Mount Cook NZ's highest, Lakes Tekapo, Pukaki and Opuha are nice day trips. We specialize in adventure farm stays and there is often the opportunity to join in Dairy/dairy farm tours, small game hunting Rabbits and Hares or mountain treks, or to organize these on your behalf.
