Hauraki Gulf Islands 

The Haruaki Gulf is scattered with 65 recreational and conservation islands of varying sizes, although some are no more than rocks.

The main islands are Waiheke, Great Barrier, Pakatoa, Ponui, Motuihe, Motutapu, Rakino, Brown's, Rangitoto Tiritiri Matangi Island, Kawau and Goat Island. Chartering a yacht is a great way of venturing around the Hauraki Gulf.
