Hurunui River Wines

Derived from a small vineyard on the Southern terraces of the braided river in North Canterbury, Hurunui River vineyard is part of a larger sheep and cattle farm. The farm, including vineyard and wine shop is in The Peaks just out of Hawarden.

At the Hurunui River wine shop you can sample free wine tastings and enjoy a glass of wine or a bottle of local beer. The menu features an antipasto platter, cheese board or bread board. Delicious coffee and cakes are also available.

Enjoy a game of Petanque while you are here and for the children there is a playground and sandpit.
