Weddings
Why choose a run-of the-mill wedding, the same as all your friends, when you can be married in Ferrymead's unique Moorehouse Church at a very reasonable price? Ferrymead's Moorehouse Church, which sits overlooking Ferrymead Edwardian Township, is a beautiful example of an early 1900's country church. Built at the beginning of last century in Ellesmere, an hour drive southeast of Christchurch, the church was presented to Ferrymead in October 1977. Moorehouse Church has since been the setting for many memorable weddings.
