Situated in the lovely township of Akaroa, Faultline Gallery has been operating since 1996 in a building around 100 years old. Previously the Gallery was a butcher shop in the early 1900s and has had many uses since that time.
The Faultline Gallery draws its name from a large crack in the concrete floor that happened when the concrete was first put down. In those days there was no reinforcing so the gallery inherited this unusual concrete floor.
The Faultline has a large variety of goods mainly New Zealand made with some goods imported.
