Canterbury Sailing School

Established as the Peninsula Sailing School in 1989, The Canterbury Sailing School's courses are 100% hands on, with the emphasis on safety and fun. Whether you are a complete novice with no sailing skills at all, or wanting to improve your racing techniques, The Canterbury Sailing School can help.

The Canterbury Sailing School is designed to work in tandem with Coastguard Boatmaster classroom courses. Whole families are encouraged to take part in the sailing courses so that everyone can play a part.

All instructor's are certified with the Maritime Safety Authority and the boats operate under the Safer Ships Management program, supervised by the Maritime Safety Authority.
