Based in Akaroa, New Zealand, in one of the world's most beautiful places, Akaroa Dolphins take you on a journey of discovery through millions of years of fascinating history and natural heritage.

Your hosts Pip and Hugh Waghorn and crew look forward to hosting you aboard the beautifully appointed vessel, Akaroa Dolphin. This stylish new catamaran is quiet, fast and stable allowing small numbers of guests an intimate cruise experience.

The vessel can visit the spectacular sea caves, volcanic formations, high cliffs and bird nesting sites both within Akaroa harbour and beyond the entrance. A comprehensive commentary on geology, history, ecology and Maori heritage and traditions is included.

Tours: An evening cruise on Akaroa Harbour is a delight. Watch magical sunsets over mountain peaks, the stars of the southern skies and the lights of Akaroa dancing on the water. Choose from our three options - a pre-dinner cocktail cruise, a cruise with restaurant dinner, or supper cruise - the choice is yours. All evening cruises are by arrangement.
Special Events: Akaroa Dolphin is available for private charter by arrangement for individuals, couples, small groups or families.
