Get Heli Belly the Mt.Potts way! The perfect place to stay the night before your SnowCat or HeliSki day, Mt.Potts lodge is a chalet in the Alps with a helipad on the doorstep.

Mt.Potts Lodge provides a three course evening meal, bed and cooked breakfast all included in the overnight rate. We have a licensed restaurant and bar warmed by a fab pot belly fire, and a great atmosphere thanks to friendly staff and fun guests - (that's you!).

The lodge has twin and share bedrooms, and a cottage. All the rooms are underfloor heated and linen and towels are provided. Bathrooms are shared.

Other facilities include a tech room for you to wax or p'tex your gear, video and games room, a pool table, guest phone and free dial-up internet access.

Getting There: Mt.Potts is signposted from Mt.Somers village, which is on State Highway 72, South of Christchurch and North of Geraldine/Queenstown. Follow the signs to Mt.Potts and Lake Clearwater, the lodge is located on the right hand side of the road about 10 minutes drive on from the lakes. Hamish, our skicrow, is at the end of the drive pointing the way in. Clients arriving on the morning of their ski day need to be at the lodge by 8am. Mt.Potts Lodge is approximately one hour's drive from Methven, or two from Christchurch.
