Are you struggling to find a Day adventure in Wellington where the children enjoy it as much as Nana? Then relax because you have found family Nirvana at the Blueberry Farm.

You can let the children run freely through the orchard while you go into a lovely Zen trance picking your bucket full of certified organic blueberries. If you get hot you can take a dip with the family in the most beautiful clear swimming hole in the Wellington region. It is perfect because it has shallow slow moving areas for the littlies and fast deeper sections for the more adventurous.

Once you have worked up an appetite then you get to the best part: Rosita's authentic Mexican Slow Food Cafe. We grow most of her ingredients in our certified organic market garden. She hand rolls her own tortillas from organic flour and from eggs from our free range chooks that can be seen wandering around the farm.

You know it is good because most weekends you can find members of the Mexican embassy driving up from Wellington to enjoy that authentic taste of home. Rosita's mother Lola will be joining us in 2008 which means we will have 4 generations cooking for your pleasure.

The blueberry cafe is how most people end their day, enjoying the delicious blueberry ice creams, pancakes, or pies. Don't forget our organic fair trade coffees and teas. Yummy!
