Bealey Hotel

Located in the Southern Alps 12km east of Arthur's Pass on State Highway 73 between Christchurch and the West Coast, The Bealey Hotel is situated on the banks of the Waimakariri River and enjoys a splendid panorama of the river and surrounding snow-capped mountains of Arthur's Pass National Park.

This modern Hotel has a licensed restaurant, family bar and Sky TV. There are 9 fully serviced self-contained motel units, some of which cater for large groups (sleep 1-5). There is also a Backpacker Lodge for the budget traveller with 9 double rooms.

Enjoy the solitude of the secluded mountain environment. For the more adventurous there is a variety of outdoor activities. There are 5 ski fields within 40 minutes of the Hotel. There are numerous well-marked walks and tramps through mountain beech forests to open snow tussock lands. There is excellent river and lake fishing. For the more experienced there are mountains to climb. Guides can be arranged.
