Mt.Potts offers heliskiing and boarding, and snowcat skiing and boarding from Mt.Potts lodge. Stay at Mt.Potts and experience our fantasic five run heliski day in the spectaular Alpine terrain of the Two Thumb and Cloudy Peak ranges. Ski or board with confidence with our qualified (IFMGA and NZMGA) guides and experienced pilots.

Or why not try snowcat skiing? Mt.Potts Snowcat takes a maximum of 14 guests per day to ski the powder, chutes and bowls of Mt.Potts. Get whisked up to the ski area by helicopter, then the snowcat takes over for the rest of the day.

All Mt.Potts skiing includes transceiver hire, guiding, delicious lunch, return heli flights and apres-hour snacks and schnapps at our base Mt.Potts Lodge. Booking is essential, give us a call!

Getting There: Mt.Potts is signposted from Mt.Somers village, which is on State Highway 72, South of Christchurch and North of Geraldine/Queenstown. Follow the signs to Mt.Potts and Lake Clearwater, the lodge is located on the right hand side of the road about 10 minutes drive on from the lakes. Hamish, our skicrow, is at the end of the drive pointing the way in. Clients arriving on the morning of their ski day need to be at the lodge by 8am. Mt.Potts Lodge is approximately one hour's drive from Methven, or two from Christchurch. A copy of this map and some directions are sent with your booking confirmation.
