Cruising Milford Sound Ltd

Cruising Milford Sound provide cruises where numbers on board are limited to guarantee an uncrowded experience and so that our well trained nature hosts can provide the best customer service at Milford. There is seating on board for 150 passengers but numbers are limited to a maximum of 100 passengers on any one sailing. This has been done so that we are not considered just another Milford Sound cruise moving as many people as we can, and to ensure the provision of a very high level of personalised service. Limiting numbers also creates a wonderfully convivial environment on board and the ability for everyone to move freely around to gain the best vantages points for viewing.

The smaller size of vessel is able to get closer to the sights such as seals colonies, dolphins and penguins when present for nice close up views, and for passengers to even feel the spray from the magnificent waterfalls. As an English only commentary is provided, passengers can enjoy plenty of quiet time to relax and take in the wilderness and grandeur that is so very special of Milford Sound. In addition, information sheets and a written version of the commentary in a number of languages eg. French, German & Japanese are provided on board.

In essence we are providing smaller boats, better service and closer viewing for our passengers.
