Quickenberry is a small intimate lodge situated on Terrace Downs Golf Resort with lovely views over rolling hills and up to Mt. Hutt. Its location is right at the doorsteps of an undiscovered adventure playground sweeping along the Rakaia River right up to Lake Coleridge and further to the Southern Alps. There is golfing, skiing, walking, mountain biking and horse riding available as well as fishing and hunting.

There are four rooms all with superking size beds, ensuites and all have views across the lawn and the neighbouring farmland. The all have air-conditioning. There is a large lounge with an open fireplace, a small library and an intimate dining room where dinner and breakfast is served at individual tables. The menu consists of four courses based on local product like lamb, venison and salmon.

Packages: Dinner, bed and breakfast packages from $330.00 per couple. Our dinner, bed and breakfast package includes a four course dinner, breakfast and accommodation. The menu changes daily with the seasons and can look something like this: Confit of Canterbury Duck with quinces, salad of Le Puy lentils, beetroot relish and Swiss roesti, Ravioli of aubergine, feta cheese and tomato with roasted hazelnuts and thyme, Loin of venison with honey and pepper crust, potatoes, vegetables and salad, Lemon cheesecake with blueberries, redcurrant sorbet and tuile.
