Things to do: Sumner beach is great for water sports, swimming, surfing etc. A beach front walk to the Sumner village and shops will take you approximately 10 mins, with plenty of choice for restaurants, cafe bars, coffee shops (one of our coffee shops provide internet facilities) tea house, wine bar, plus a supermarket, cinema, post shop, pharmacy, and several hair salons etc. We are spoilt with lovely hillside walking tracks, with great sea and mountain views of the Southern Alps, South Pacific Ocean, and Christchurch City.
