Balloon Safaris is New Zealand's oldest established balloon company operating a variety of balloons, the largest standing almost 110ft tall and carrying up to 8 adult passengers and the pilot.

Your flight begins soon after dawn when the wind is gentle and the early morning light gives the countryside in New Zealand a very special appeal. Just as the very first Aeronauts did in 1783, you too can float on the wind, silent and graceful. Safety of our passengers is paramount. Your pilot will be in constant radio contact with Air Traffic Control and our own 4WD chase vehicles throughout the flight.

Flight Time: Is about one hour but may be varied at the pilots discretion. Allow approximately 4 hours for total excursion from pick up time. When you land, enjoy complimentary bubbly and snacks in the great tradition of those early pioneers.
