Matai Shuttles provide a winter mountain shuttle from 8am every half hour until 11.30am, you can be picked up from your Ohakune accommodation and taken to the slopes of Turoa.
Summer Tongariro Alpine Crossing Shuttles departs Ohakune at 6am and 7.30am, National Pack 6.30am, and 8am, Whakapapa Village 7am, 8am, and 9am. DoC approved operator.
Matai Shuttles also offers transport to any of the many walks or activities in the Central Plateau area including Pipiriki jet boating. Rental cars and vans for hire. Buses are available for larger groups.
