Matamata Ski Club

Situated right next to the loop road in Iwakau Village on the northern slopes of Mount Ruapehu, the Matamata Ski Club is a well appointed, centrally heated Lodge providing ski accommodation for club members.

Matamata Ski Club employs a custodian who lives at the lodge full time during the Ski Season. The custodian will show you around the lodge and explain how things work. They also look after food preparation and a duty roster. These duties are not difficult and only take a few minutes each day.
