Situated on a sheep and beef farm in the peaceful Orautoha Valley in the Ruapehu region, Uncle Bill's Cottage is a self-contained house providing relaxed and peaceful accommodation ideal for families, couples and groups alike.

Uncle Bill's Cottage is a completely refurbished cottage originally built by one of the original settlers in the valley, and reflects some of those times. The original polished matai floors and ceilings have been retained, enabling you to enjoy the charm of yesteryear while appreciating the comforts of today.

There are wonderful views over rolling countryside and the river. A private path leads to the river through a garden. To ensure your privacy Uncle Bill's Cottage accepts one-party bookings only, although the cottage sleeps 9 people in four bedrooms.
