Whanganui River Jetboat trips depart from Whakahoro and travel upstream or downstream depending on the desired destination. A great way to explore the far off reaches of the Whanganui River within a day.

Jet Boat trips include return transfers from Owhango, Raurimu, Whakapapa Village and National Park Village. Jet Boat trips are available during summer and winter and if conditions are right, a special 1-hour Retaruke River excursion can be undertaken.

Visit the Jock Ercegs Museum and the Niu Poles upstream, while downstream has the secluded scenery of the Whanganui National Park and the very popular 'Bridge to Nowhere'.

Features: Clients can utilise our Whakahoro base facilities. On offer are hot showers, toilets, shop, cafe and the base is open until late for those coming off the river in the afternoon. Vehicle parking is available at Whakahoro, Owhango or Raurimu.
Please Note: Jet Boating trips are subject to minimum numbers of people on any given trip and bookings are essential. Chartered trips are most welcome. Prices on application.
