L'Arte Mosaic Cafe & Sculpture Garden

A trip to L'arte' is a visual and edible feast. Apart from there being mosaics everywhere ( even in the loo's) the art work will have you absorbed while you sip on your supreme coffee and perhaps contemplate a piece of art that might fit into your home or garden.

Set in this wonderful arty mosaic environment you will discover the delights of L'Arte' food and enjoy the unique ambience the combination of Food and Art has created. Utilizing New Zealand's finest produce L'Arte's kitchen team prepares everything on site.

Art is a very big part of L'Arte' - it covers the walls in the café' and spreads out into a wonderful courtyard sculpture area which Judi has created - this space is developing and changing all the time and we have great plans to eventually make it bigger. The mosaics in the sculpture area have been designed to form a perfect backdrop for the art.

The art at L'Arte' is all made by New Zealand artists - some local and others from further afield. Judi's own art is sold exclusively from L'Arte'. This is a mixture of clay, concrete and fabric art so unique that you won't be able to resist it!
