Taupo Orienteering Club is one of the smallest orienteering clubs in New Zealand and was established in 1975 by the late Allan Brown.

The Taupo Orienteering Club has a proud reputation for holding events of an extremely high standard. The club is famous for hosting the annual "All Night Relays" (Katoa Po). It has done this for the last 26 years.

Club Logo: The stylised outline shows Lake Taupo, New Zealand's largest freshwater lake which is located in the centre of the North Island. This lake is famous for its rainbow and brown trout. The lake is a caldera and was the source of the largest volcanic (rhyolytic) eruption in recent times (130 A.D.)
