Okataina Lodge consists of 28 units, 65 beds with some featuring stunning views of the lake, while others are nestled on the edge of the bush.

Lake Okataina is reached by travelling from Rotorua along the main Whakatane highway, passing en route the Tikitere Thermal area, described by George Bernard Shaw as presenting "The best opportunity to get so close to Hades and yet be able to return", a privilege which he never expected during his long and chequered life.

Conference Facilities: Okataina Lodge has two conference rooms at the lodge. The Pohutukawa Room can accommodate up to 70 people and has vehicle access and the Rata Room accommodates up to 40 people. The Okataina Lodge conference rooms are equipped with Titan Connecta tables which allow us to set up a variety of conference styles such as board room, theatre or U shape layouts to suit your conference requirements.
