Centrally located in Rotorua in a classic piece of bold 1940's architecture, the Pig and Whistle is a local landmark and a favourite dining destination.

Come on in and enjoy the atmosphere of one of the most popular bars in Rotorua. Refreshing drinks, hearty food and live entertainment in combination with friendly staff will make your visit one you'll want to repeat.

Entertainment is a priority at the Pig and Whistle with live bands every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. There is also a solo guitarist on Wednesday and Sunday nights.

Restaurant/Bar: The main bar at the Pig and Whistle offers great surroundings with native timber features throughout including a solid Rimu bar built by one of Rotorua's top craftsmen. The garden bar is surrounded by New Zealand ferns to provide a taste of the New Zealand outdoors. All of this, along with our friendly bar staff make the Pig and Whistle a great place for anything from a quiet drink, to lunch or dinner or a fun night out with friends. The bar is open from 11.30am untill late seven days a week.
