Whakatane District Library

The Whakatane District Library is a public library responsible to and funded by Whakatane District Council. One library card entitles a registered user to borrow from any of the four libraries in the system.

Anyone may use the library and casual readers are welcome to spend time in the libraries reading, studying or checking on local events and national news.

From now on the Whakatane Library will be using receipt printers on their issue desks. These will list the items you have had issued and tell you when they are due back, this will replace the date stamp. You will need to keep this receipt in a safe place as it is your record of what is issued on your card and when they are due back.
