Situated on the waterfront of Queenstown Bay, Prime Restaurant & Bar specialises in steak and New Zealand cuisine.

Open daily, Prime has a variety of dining options including outdoor lakeside seating, a spacious upstairs balcony and a versatile restaurant and bar area.

With superb views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains through floor to ceiling glass windows, our guests can experience a welcoming ambience, a warming central fireplace, excellent acoustics and sound system. The raised platform at one end of the restaurant is ideal for live entertainment, guest speakers or a top table for wedding receptions.

Functions: Prime is the perfect venue for private functions. We have the capacity to comfortably seat 170 for a sit down dinner and up to 250 for drinks and canapés. We have an extensive range of set menus and finger food options available, along with a fantastic beverage selection.
