Details

Special Features: Known for its great catch, Thornton Beach is a fisherman's haven. Land based anglers can fish towards Whale Island from the beach with a surfcasting rod. The Rangitaiki River also provides many great fishing spots and if you go out boating, you won't be disappointed either! Thornton Beach Holiday Park facilities have been designed with little campers in mind. The Ablution Block features family sized showers, a babies bath & changing table as well as highchairs in the kitchen. Over summer the park run a children's program and weather permitting screen kids movies at night. The newest addition is a jumping pillow and playground as well as bike & games hire.
