Use Thames as a base and do a day trip around the Peninsula or take off for a few extra days and get off the beaten path. Try Fletchers Bay, Stony bay, Coastal Walkway, New Chums beach, Coromandel Town, Whitianga and Opoutere. Or take off further a field if you have more time.
