Mount Edward Wines is a small, dedicated winery nestling at the foot of the mountain from which it takes its name, in Gibbston, approximately 25 km east of Queenstown, in Central Otago, New Zealand. The team is totally committed to producing wines, which reflect the climate, soils and energy of one of the world's most exciting new wine regions.
Production until now has been about 1500 cases annually with demand having long since outstripped supply. However with new estate vineyards coming on stream the winery is gearing up with new equipment to allow a period of carefully controlled growth in output over the next few years.
