Great indoor and alfresco spot across the road from the world famous Hundertwasser toilets. Ongoing entertainment as tourists stop on the crossing trying to capture the iconic loos, whilst heavy traffic speeds along the SH1 heading north to Kaitaia, Kerikeri, Kaikohe - or South towards Whangarei.
Espresso coffee, iced coffee, iced chocolates. Phoenix drinks. Indigenous Taakawa NZ Beer (contains Kawakawa leaf). Freshly baked muffins, chocolate fudge brownie, berry crumbles. Gourmet pies from Loris Cookery in Moerewa. Bagels, sandwiches, salads and convenient panini or toasted sandwich.

- Driving north through Kawakawa, take the left turn in the middle of town (before the zebra crossing and Hundertwasser toilets) park right at the back of the cafe or in the larger public carpark down alley next to the Kawakawa Memorial Library Museum. Coming south through Kawakawa, turn right just after the zebra crossing and parking as above. We are a popular cafe so if you are going to be in a hurry feel free to reserve a table and order your food or coffee by phoning us on 09 404 0361. Takeaways available also!!
